About us

Health and Fitness Education, HFE (formerly Innervate Training) is one of the UK’s leading health and fitness industry training providers. At HFE we deliver a wide range of nationally recognised Central YMCA (CYQ) and Active IQ Qualifications, to ensure that the training we deliver is current, of value and recognised by all fitness sector employers. Because all our programmes are accredited through awarding bodies, they are automatically endorsed by the Register of Exercise Professionals and accrue 20 REPs CPD points.

In 2012, we changed our name from Innervate Training to Health and Fitness Education to better reflect our role in improving health and our emerging presence into the health care sector. The company had simply ‘out grown’ its original name and needed an identity that better suited its size, role and services.
